I started quilting in 1984.  I made two quilts using a Dover book for instructions.  I am happy to say both quilts are still in use.  I machine and hand quilt.  Early quilts, including bed size were hand quilting.  Now I hand quilt small quilts, and either have large quilts professionally machine quilted or machine quilt them myself.  I have been a craftermaker and serious potter most of my life.   Fabric is another source for creation.  Use of colors and designs inspire me.  I love a variety of bold colors and prints, including animal and florals.  Blues and browns are widely used, Balis, hand dyed and fabrics I paint.
