Artist Statement

Kate Iscol

I have been a painter, printmaker and ceramist for most of my life. Searching for and manipulating textiles into unique color compositions is my favorite part of the quilting process. I enjoy creating quilts each with a multitude of colors and patterns. My aim is to concentrate on making more quilts using only a few tone on tone colors. I prefer traditional quilt designs and variations of them.
